BJP march on Karuvannur scam

Kochi: Suresh Gopi, MP, led a BJP march protesting against the Left government protecting CPM leaders allegedly involved in the multi crore Karuvannur Cooperative Bank scam in Irinjalakuda in Thrissur today.
The ‘Cooperative Protection March’, which was flagged off by state BJP chief K Surendran, will end in front of Thrissur corporation.
The party paid tributes to those who committed suicide after losing their deposits in bank scam.
The Sahakari Samrakshana Padayatra will passed through Oorakam, Cherpu, Chevoor, Palakkal, Kanimangalam via Kuruppam Road, and ended at Swaraj Round, Thrissur.
In a facebook post, Suresh Gopi had the other day announced that he would fight for the justice of people who were cheated by the bank.

CPM councillor P R Aravindakshan, former bank accountant C K Jilse, alleged benamis Satheesh Kumar and P P Kiran have already been arrested by the ED in this connection.
