Kochi: Former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa of the BJP was booked under charges including POCSO Act on a complaint of a 17-year-old girl’s mother, media reports said.
The case was filed at Sadashivanagar police station in Bengaluru under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and 354(A) of the IPC.
According to the FIR the incident happened on February 2 when the complainants went to Yediyurappa seeking assistance in a cheating case.
A few years back, Yediyurappa was booked in an alleged corruption case relating to denotification of prime land in Bengaluru in 2006 when he was Deputy Chief Minister.
