Kochi: Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan retired from domestic and international cricket on Saturday. The 38-year-old left-handed batsman announced it on social media.Dhawan last played for India during the ODI series against Bangladesh in 2022.
Dhawan posted a video message on X thanking his fans and others for their love and support.Dhawan has 34 Tests, 167 ODIs and 68 T20Is to his credit. In the 50-over format he made 6,793 runs at an average of 44.11 and 2,315 runs in Tests at an average of 40.61.
He made 1,750 runs in 68 T20I at an average of 27.92.
