Kris Gopalakrishnan booked

Kochi: Infosys co-founder Senapathy Kris Gopalakrishnan and 17 members of Indian Institute of Science under the SC/ST Act have been booked for allegedly plotting a fictitious honey trap to dismiss a faculty member, media reports said.
The Sadashivanagar police have registered a case based on a private complaint filed by D Sanna Durgappa who was a faculty member of Centre for Sustainable Technology at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
Durgappa, who belongs to the Bovi community (scheduled caste), had moved to a city civil and session court against the accused.
The court directed the jurisdictional police to register a case and investigate the matter.
Durgappa alleged that the accused had used fake honey trap case to dismiss him from service in 2014. Durgappa also alleged that he was subjected to casteist abuse and threats.
The accused in this case include Govindan Rangarajan, Sridhar Warrier, Sandya Vishwswaraih, Hari K V S, Dasappa, Balaram P, Hemalata Mhishi, Chattopadyaya K, Pradeep D Sawkar, and Manoharan.
Kris Gopalakrishnan, who serves as a member of the IISc Board of Trustees, has not reacted to the charges, the reports said.
