Kochi: A Technopark staff was allegedly raped by an unidentified person in her hostel room at Kazhakkoottam in Thiruvananthapuram in the wee hours on Friday morning, media reports said.
The accused entered her hostel room at about 2 am. She screamed after which the accused escaped.
The hostel authorities rushed to her help. They helped rhe 25-year old woman lodged a complaint with Kazhakkoottam police who registered the case after a medical examination.
She was alone in the hostel.
A team led by Kazhakkoottam Assistant Commissioner has started investigation.
