Kochi: The Kerala High Court on Monday
prevented the ED from proceeding its probe in the Money laundering case against CMRL and Veena Vijayan until June 5.
A division bench of the court reserved its judgement on an appeal filed by the Cochin Minerals and Rutile LMRL (CMRL) against a single bench order allowing ED to proceed its investigation in the Money laundering case.
CMRL accused the ED of transcending its limits during the investigation. CMRL argued that there is not an FiR CMRL.
The Directorate of Enforcement had raided places including former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s house in connection with a Money Laundering case against Pinarayi’s daughter Veena Vijayan.
