Kochi: Muslim League made history by appointing a non Muslim as vice president of the party in Kerala.
Former CPM leader Shyam Sunder of Haripad in Alappuzha has been picked for the post.
The state committee has been reshuffled to include new members of the league in new posts.
Sundar is Muslim League State secretariat member. He has worked ad DYFI State treasurer and national leader. He joined league during factionalism at its height in CPM in 2009.
