Kochi: The election to Wayanad Lok Sabha and Palakkad and Chelakkara assembly seats in Kerala among 15 states will be held on November 13, media reports said.
Wayanad, vacated by Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi of the Congress, will see his sister Priyanka Gandhi contesting the polls for the first time as party candidate.
Rahul had also won from Uttar Pradesh’s Rae Bareli.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the schedule for bye elections in 48 assembly seats and 2 Lok Sabha.
The results will be announced on November 23.
