Kochi: Malayalam filmmaker Sanal Kumar Sasidharan was booked by Kochi police on the basis of a harassment complaint lodged by actor Manju Warrier, media reports said.
Sanal, who is residing in the US, is on bail after he was arrested on the basis of her complaint in May 2022.
Manju accused him of harassing the actor over social media.
The 47-year-old filmmaker began his film career in 2000.
The police are reportedly taking steps to extradite him and have approached the Indian Embassy.
