Kochi: A man allegedly shot dead his daughter Radhika Yadav, a national level tennis player, Gurugram’s Sushant Lok today, media reports said.
The accused Deepak Yadav fired five bullets out of which three hit her. According to police the man was arrested and has allegedly confessed to killing his daughter.
The police said the complaint was filed by the accused’s brother. The police said that Deepak was against his daughter running a tennis academy which he wanted to shut down. Radhika was a national-level tennis player and had won several competitions.
The 25-year-old victim was shot dead around 10 am inside her house in sector-57 Gurugram. The police have seized the gun used by her father, and the matter is under investigation.
