Kochi: Passengers on board Kochi-bound flight escaped miraculously as the plane landed safely due to fire in one of its engines in Bengaluru, media reports said.
The fire was noticed about five minutes after
the Pune-Bengaluru-Kochi Air India Express 1132
M took off from Bengaluru on Friday night.
The passengers were evicted through the emergency exit.
The fire brigade rushed to the spot and put out the fire.
The flight took off from Pune at 8.20 pm against scheduled time of 7.40 pm and landed at Bengaluru at 10.30 pm.
It took off for Kochi at 10.50 pm.
