Kochi: In a major raid, sales tax sleuths seized 105 kg of unaccounted gold from jewelry units and other places in Thrissur, media reports said.
The raids were conducted in 73 premises owned by 35 jewelry owners and manufacturers.
The raids were led by Abraham Renn S, Special Commissioner, GST.
The raids were mainly aimed at unearthing unaccounted transactions between jewellery manufacturers and jewellery owners over a period of five years,” Renn said, the reports said.
