Kochi: The Kerala High Court has expressed concern over a French Tourist suffering injuries by tripping into an open drain near Customs jetty in Fort Kochi, media reports said.
The court has directed the Collector to submit a report on the matter, the reports said.
The court asked what the world would think about Kochi and Kerala. The court said it was a matter of shame.
The court asked how will tourism grow in the state? It will impact the entire state.
The French tourist Landon, 39, who was in Kerala for a few months for treatment with his mother suffered injuries after the fall on Thursday.
