Kochi: India countered Pakistan’s attempt to target Delhi and Jammu air force base, in the early hours of Saturday, News18 said.
India intercepted Pakistan’s Fatah 2 missile targeted at Delhi, in Sirsa Haryana, News18 quoting government sources said.
India also countered Islamabad’s attempts to attack Jammu, Pathankot and Udhampur.
A top government source said that an air-to-surface missile was used by India to hit Pakistan.
Pakistan is calling their action against India as ‘Bunyan Un Marsoos’.
All Indian air bases were safe.
India attacked four air bases of Nur Khan airbase in Rawalpindi, Murid and Rafiqi, sources said.
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) and other aviation authorities have ordered a temporary suspension of civil flight operations at 32 airports across northern and western India till May 25, 2025.
Twenty Five segments of Air Traffic Service (ATS) routes within the Delhi and Mumbai Flight Information Regions will remain closed to civilian traffic.
