Kochi: Israel targeted southern Gaza and after the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) and Hamas accused each other of violating the US brokered ceasefire, BBC reported.
The IDF said Hamas “fired an anti-tank missile and gunfire toward IDF troops” near Rafah, while Hamas denied it.
There were reports of nine Palestinians falling victim to alleged Israel air strikes in Central Gaza.
The Israeli military launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the 7 October 2023 attack, in which Hamas-led gunmen killed about 1,200 people in southern Israel and took 251 others hostage.
The US has given stern warning to Hamas to stick to the ceasefire.
