Kochi: After getting a dressing down from Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for dragging his daughter’s name during Assembly discussion, Mathew Kuzhalnadan of Congress has stood by his claims made in the assembly.
Addressing a press conference, Mathew published data which he claimed was enough to prove his claim about Pinarayi ‘s daughter Veena.
Mathew had alleged in the assembly yesterday that PricewaterhouseCoopers director Jake Balakumar had worked in the website run by Pinarayi ‘s daughter. The matter about Jake Balakumar published in the website was removed when it became controversial inn2020. The same was recovered from the archives, Mathew said.
Pinarayi had warned Mathew against misusing the assembly as a platform to make allegations against those sitting at home.
On the contrary Mathew stood his ground and said he was ready to face the consequences if he was wrong.
The matter came up yesterday when the house was discussing diplomatic gold smuggling that happened in 2020.
