Kochi: Malayaam actor Minu Muneer was arrested on Tuesday
for allegedly making defamatory remarks against actor and filmmaker Balachandra Menon.
She was arrested by Infopark Cyber Police and released in Kochi.
Muneer had levelled allegations that Menon had sexulually harassed her during the shooting of film ‘Dhe Ingottu Nokkiye’
Minu was arrested on the allegations of defaming Menon through her posts on social media platforms.
Minu had levelled sexual misconduct against several members of the Malayalam film industry after the publishing report by government appointed Hema Committee after the actor abuse case on February 17, 2017, when a leading actress was abducted and abused in a moving vehicle. Actor Dileep, who is an accused in the case, was in jail for about 90 days.
