Kochi: A couple were taken into custody by Pudukad police in Thrissur on Sunday in connection with the unnatural death of two newborns one of which is believed to have been murdered, media reports said.
The two Bavin and Aneeshs who did not enter into a wedlock were taken into custody after the man walked into the police station carrying a bag that he said contained the remains of the two babies.
The first baby was killed by Aneesha on November 6, 2021 and the second one. August 21, 2024.
The families of the couple were not aware of the child births.
