Kochi: Raids were being conducted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) at 16 locations in Karnataka in connection with the BJP Yuva Morcha leader Praveen Nettaru murder case, media reports said.
Nettaru, who was a BJP Yuva Morcha district executive committee member, was hacked to death by two motorcycle-borne assailants in Bellare village of Dakshina Kannada district in allegedly banned Popular Front of India (PFI)
in July 2022, the reports quoting officials said.
The case was initially probed by Karnataka police. The NIA took over the investigation on August 4, 2022. It filed chargesheet against 21 accused in January 2023.
