Kochi: After a few judges recused themselves from hearing a plea seeking a CBI probe into an alleged scam against Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter, another bench has been constituted to hear the case fresh.
The new bench will hear the petition for CBI probe into the alleged “illegal gratification” to Veena Vijayan from CMRL without offering any service.
The court has admitted the petition and issued notices to all respondents.
The petition filed by journalist M R Ajayan demands CBI to probe the case which is now with the Enforcement Directorate among others.
Three judges have recused themselves from hearing the case.
The petition will now be heard by the new bench on November 18.
