Kochi: A Thiruvananthapuram court lambasted the prosecution for not filing chargesheet against those who were accused of planning to allegedly assassinate Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi in mid air on 13 June 2022, Asianet News reported.

Principal Sessions Court was not satisfied with the prosecution’s reply that delay in central government hampered it in going further in the case.
The matter came before the court when the prime accused Farzeen Majid moved the court seeking permission to renew his passport.
The incident happened when some Youth Congress workers raised slogans against the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan during his air travel from Kannur to Thiruvananthapuram.
Four Youth Congress leaders are accused in the case.
