Potti reveals more

Kochi: Sabarimala Temple gold robbery case prime accused Unnikrishnan Potti has pointed fingers at others as beneficiaries at his cost, media reports said.
There are reports of Potti putting the blame on a five-member syndicate operating from Bengaluru in the gold case being probed by a Special Investigation Team set up by The Kerala High Court.
He is reported to have revealed that the plan was to extract gold from the idols and the temple’s door frames, the reports said.
Another accused, Murari Babu, who is a suspended temple official, is next on the list of the SIT for questioning. The SIT has also begun issuing questioning notices to other accused.
SIT is also soon planning to question Kalpesh, a Bengaluru resident believed to have received the stolen gold from Potti, and Nagesh, promoter of a Hyderabad-based gold processing unit.
The Chennai-based Smart Creations, where the gold articles were taken, is under the SIT’s radar.
The SIT raided the ancestral house of Potti at Karettu on Saturday.
