Kochi: Pahalgam terror attack victim N Ramachandran, 65, was cremated in Edappally on Friday.
The Martyr was bid adiue with state honours at the Shanthikavadam Crematorium in Edappally.
Ramachandran’s mortal remains were brought to Kochi on Wednesday was kept in a hospital.
Ramachandran’s body was kept at Changampuzha Park at 7 am for public homage. Later the body was taken to his residence on Mangattu Road for last rites.
Ramachandran had travelled to Kashmir on April 21 with wife Sheela, daughter Aartii and grandchildren for a vacation. The terror attack occurred a day later, on April 22. At the time of the attack, Ramachandran was accompanied by his daughter Aarti and her twin sons.
Recounting the harrowing experience, Aarti said she ran with her two sons for nearly an hour before two local men came to their rescue.
