Kochi: Special Investigation Team (SIT) arrested former Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) member K P Shankardas of CPI in connection with the gold robbery case in Sabarimala temple today, a
Asianetnews live reported.
Shankardas, who is 11th in the case, was arrested from the hospital where he was undergoing treatment for his ailments.
He will be produced before a Kollam Court on Thursday.
Shankardas was one of TDB members who had given green signal to illegal removal of gold artefacts in 2019.
