Kochi: An autorickshaw driver is yet to recover from the harrowing experience of ferrying a profusely bleeding celebrity actor Saif Ali Khan to Lilavati hospital on Thursday, media reports said.
Bhajan Singh Rana, 47, told ABP News about the shock of experiencing the high profile actor seeking his help to rush him to the hospital.
A couple of hours past midnight, he was passing by the upscale apartment area in Bandra when a woman’s alarm for help fell into his ears.
Rana saw a woman standing near the main gate of the apartment and calling out to him.
Rana’s anxiety increased when he saw Saif Ali Khan accompanied by a child and a person rushing toward him and entering his vehicle. Khan appeared calm despite injuries at many places.
Upon boarding the rickshaw, the actor immediately asked Rana to take him to the Lilavati hospital which was only ten minute drive from there, but gave a feel of endless travel, the reports said.
