Forces demolish Bomber’s house

Kochi: The house of suicide bomber Dr Umar Mohammed alias Umar un-Nabi, who killed 13 people, was demolished by
security forces in Kashmir, media reports said.
The security forces supervised the demolition of the doctor’s house at Pulwama in south Kashmir.
Investigation into the blast revealed that Umar, a doctor at Al-Falah University in Faridabad, was driving the Hyundai i20 car that exploded near a traffic signal on the Netaji Subhash Marg near Red Fort injuring 20 others.
His DNA samples matched with that of his mother’s.
The demolition was part of the government’s resolve to deal with terrorism with an iron hand.
Houses of terrorists and their supporters were razed to the ground in connection with the Pahalgam terror attack.
The terrorist triggered the Delhi blast after police teams from Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana seized about 2,900 kg of explosives and arms from the possession of the terrorist’s associates
Muzammil and Shaheen Saeed.
Both doctors are now in custody and are being questioned by the NIA and other agencies.
Investigators suspect that the module linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat Ul-Hind planned to carry out a much bigger attack.
