Petition against CJP leader

Kochi : The Madras High Court has ordered to issue a notice to the Central Government on a petition seeking a probe into the nationality of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) co-convenor Saurav Das.
A division bench of the court sought to block the X and Instagram handles of Das and prevent him from making alleged derogatory statements against the Supreme Court, the Times of India reported.
The petitioner, who is a businessman from Chennai, alleged that the original “name of Sourav Das was Yogesh Sharma” and that he has “roots in Nepal.”
The petitioner accused Das of concealing his details to “fraudulently” obtain an Aadhaar card, passport, and voter ID in India. The petitioner accused Das of using social media handles “only for the purpose of creating chaos, anarchy, disenchantment, and hatred against the ruling establishment.”
