Kochi: In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old student was found hanging inside the Government Vocational Higher Secondary School, Paruthippally, in Kattakada, in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday morning, media reports said.
Benson Abraham of Erumakuzhi was found hanging from the roof near the school building. Benson’s uncle alleged that the boy sulked over not getting the school seal on his record which had to be submitted by Thursday, the reports said.
Benson was directed by his teacher to get the seal affixed at the office. However, the clerk refused to comply with his request. Later, principal directed Benson to bring his parents to school on Friday.
The boy reportedly left home on Thursday night and did not return. He was found hanging when the school was opened on Friday morning, the reports said.
