Kochi: One woman was killed when a building in Kottayam Medical College collapsed today.
It was not known whether more people were trapped in the debris.
The building block housed washrooms used by patients of three wards. It was one of the oldest blocks of the entire Medical College building.
The fire force personnel were struggling to carry out search and rescue operations due to shortage of machinery.
