Kochi: Mathew Kuzhalnadan, MLA, of Congress moved the Supreme Court for a probe against Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on alleged financial deals between his daughter’s IT firm and Cochin Minerals and Rutile Ltd.
Kuzhalnadan challenged Kerala High Court’s verdict refusing to order a probe into the alleged financial transactions between T Veena’s now defunct Exalogic Solutions Ltd and Cochin Minerals and Rutile Ltd (CMRL), Asianet News reported.

T Veena in an affidavit before Kerala High Court rejected the allegation that now defunct Exalogic Solutions Pvt Ltd, was a benami firm.
She made the affidavit in response to a public interest litigation (PIL) seeking a CBI probe into the alleged financial transactions between Exalogic and (CMRL). She had claimed that her father had no role in the business of her company.
The centre had ordered a probe by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) into issues including the alleged transactions.
