Kochi: The 33-year-old slow left arm spinner Ajaz Yunus Patel of New Zealand became third bowler to claim 10 wickets against India in the second test at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai today.
The Bombay-born New Zealander, joined Jim Laker of England who took 10 wickets against Australia in 1956 at Oval in England and Anil Kumble against Pakistan at New Delhi in 1999.
Patel is different as he had achieved it in the first innings while the others had achieved it in second innings.
Patel got the feat overseas while the others did in their home countries.
Patel made his debut against Pakistan in 2018.
