Kochi: Complaints have been lodged against BJP leader P C George for cautioning Christians against love Jihad, media reports said.

George, who is on a bail in connection with allegations for making hate remarks during a TV channel discussion.
The fresh complaints accused George of making remarks that 400 girls had become victims of ‘love jihad’ in Meenachil Taluk in Kottayam district in Kerala.
George made the controversial remarks while addressing a congregation of Catholics at Pala on Sunday.
Meenachil Taluk, which is one of the five taluks in Kottayam district, has a significant Syrian Catholic population.
