Cong divided CM’s name speculation

Kochi: A section of Congress leaders in Kerala is upset over Congress High Command not acting against those speculating Chief Ministerial candidates if Congress-led front is voted to power in Kerala.
K Sudhakaran backing K C Venugopal for the post has not gone well among some senior leaders including former party Chief K Muraleedharan who appears to have lodged their displeasure to the party.
Deepa Das Munshi who is taking care of Kerala matters has not reacted on it so far.
There are reports of K Sudhakaran meeting party chief Mallikarjuna kharge whose office has dismissed such a meeting.
Benny Behnan has sent a letter urging leaders to refrain from expressing opinion in public about the Chief Minister candidate.
Congress leadership have made it clear that the opinions of MPs will be sought while deciding the Chief Minister.
Kerala Opposition Leader V D Satheesan refused to answer media questions about the Chief Minister at Kochi on Sunday.
K Muraleedharan also expressed concern over part not being able to restrict leaders. There will be no arrangement to share the Chief Minister’s post. Those elected will rule for five years unchanged.
