Cops nab Pak woman

Kochi: A 27-year-old Pakistani woman’s obsession for her young lover in India lands her in intelligence agencies’ custody, media reports quoting police said. The mother of four, Seema Ghulam Hyder landed in Noida near New Delhi to live with her boyfriend Sachin, 22, in May, the reports said. A worker at a grocery store, Sachin came into acquaintance with her during the COVID pandemic in 2020 through PUBG, the reports said. The two met in Nepal in January when they decided to unite.
Seema set out with her four children from Karachi to Dubai where her husband Ghulam Reza worked. She and her children took a flight to Kathmandu in Nepal from where they took a bus to cross over to India illegally by skipping security screening, the reports said. As soon as they reached Delhi, her beau, a grocery shop worker, received them at the Yamuna expressway and took them to his shelter at Rabupura in Greater Noida. Sachin had arranged a rented house in the colony where his family stayed. He had introduced Haider as his wife to the landlord. Police have informed the Pakistani embassy.

The two were planning to get married when they were nabbed by the police on Sunday after being alerted by a lawyer whom they had approached to get legal advice on getting married. They were traveling to Ballabgarh in Haryana when the police backed by the anti terrorist squad of Uttar Pradesh nabbed them, the reports said. She claimed that her life was miserable in Pakistan where her husband Ghulam Raza used to torture her. He was working in Saudi Arabia and was away for the last four years. Her brother was working with the Pakistani army. She had sold her parents’ house for Rs 12 lakh to foot her travel and other expenses.
