Kochi: A court in Idukki sentenced
Hameed to death for burning to death his son, daughter in law and two grandchildren in Cheenikuzhi in Thodupuzha today.
The court also sentenced him for 10 years of Rigorous Imprisonment and fined Rs 5 lakh.
The convict Hameed locked the four in their house and torched it.
Muhammed Faizal 45, Faizal’s wife Sheeba 40 and their teenaged daughters Meharin 16 and Asna 13 on March 19, 2022.
Hameed threw petrol bottles into the bedroom and set them on fire.
