Kochi: Former SFI leader Kasthuri Anirudhan, son of CPM leader A Anirudhan was elected president of
Hindu Aikya Vedi (HAV) of Thiruvananthapuram unit.
Kasthuri, who is the brother of former MP A Sampath of CPM, accused the Left parties of destroying Indian culture.
Kasthuri also blamed the CPM for not correcting its mistakes.
Kasthuri’s father A Anirudhan was a member of undivided Communist party. He later got affiliated with the CPM after the division of CPM.
His father was elected to Kerala assembly thrice and once elected to Parliament while being in jail.
Kasthuri was an activist of the SFI during college days. Sampath and Kasthuri, living in adjacent houses in the capital city, are politically in two poles.
