Kochi: In a swift action, Air India has grounded a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft after a reported fault in the fuel control switch, media reports.
The aircraft was grounded after fuel switch moved from ‘Run’ to ‘Cutoff’
The airline confirmed that the aircraft was taken out of service immediately the pilot reported encountering a problem in the switch.
Boeing has been asked to examine the issue urgently and address the pilot’s concerns.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has been informed about it.
