BJP acts against Nupur Sharma, Jindal

Kochi: Condemning the alleged remarks of national spokesperson Nupur Sharma, the BJP has suspended her pending enquiry.
The party has also expelled Delhi BJP’s media in-charge Naveen Kumar Jindal in this connection.
Om Pathak, member secretary, central disciplinary committee, said that Nupur had violated the rule 10 (a) of the party and that she was being suspended pending further enquiry.
Meanwhile, BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh said that every religion has blossomed and flourished during thousands of years in India.
The BJP respects all religions and denounces  insults of any religion.
The constitution guarantees the right to any person to believe in any religion.
At a time when the country is celebrating 75th year of independence, the BJP is committed to making India a great country where all are equal and everyone lives with dignity, where all are committed to India’s unity and integrity…, he said in a statement.
The strong action from BJP comes at a time when a few Middle East nations condemned the incident in strongest terms.
Cases have been registered against Nupur  in a few states in this connection.
