Kochi: The 36-year-old Rafael Nadal won the French Open for the 14th time defeating Norway’s Casper Ruud in straight sets in Paris today.
The Spaniard won in straight sets, thrashing eight seed Ruud of Norway 6-3 6-3 6-0.
With today’s win Nafal’s has increased his tally of Grand slam to a record 22.
He moves ahead of his great rivals Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.
Nadal has won 112 of his 115 matches on the Paris clay.
