Kochi: A Kerala High Court judge has recused from hearing a PIL seeking a CBI probe into allegations of financial fraud against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter T Veena, The Times of India reported.
The Income Tax Department has accused Veena of receiving monthly financial benefits from Cochin Minerals and Rutile Ltd (CMRL) without providing any service by her defunct Exalogic Solutions.
The division bench comprising the Chief Justice Nitin Jamdar and the other judge
had on Tuesday adjourned the PIL to Nov 3.
The matter will be taken up by another division bench headed by the Chief Justice on November 3.
