Kochi: Kerala High Court on Friday dismissed petitions challenging the Vigilance Court order on CMRL scam against those including Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, and his daughter Veena Vijayan, media reports said.
One of the petitioners is late Gireesh Babu who filed the revision petition in 2023 against the Muvattupuzha Vigilance Court order.
Girish had sought a probe into the alleged bribery carried out by officials of Cochin Minerals and Rutile Ltd (CMRL).
The other petitioner is MLA Mathew Kuzhalnadan who filed a petition against the dismissal of his plea by the Thiruvananthapuram Vigilance Court to look into the alleged payments made by CMRL to Exalogica owned by Veena Vijayan.
