I.N.D.I.A allies fight in Puthuppally

Kochi: Members of Opposition bloc I.N.D.I.A are fighting a pitch battle in a by-election in Puthuppally assembly seat where Congress is much ahead of its traditional rival CPM in Kerala today.
Late Chief Minister Oommen Chandy’s son Chandy Oommen had established an unassailable lead against CPM candidate Jaick C Thomas.
Congress has gone berserk over the early lead with party leaders, workers and supporters celebrating across the state raising slogans, waiving party flags, bursting crackers.
The election was necessitated following the death of Chandy who had represented the seat for over five decades.
Ironically these two parties are fighting unitedly against the BJP at national level forgetting all ideologies.
