Idukki: Pranav Smiju, a sixth-standard student of De Paul Public School in Rajamudy, has won laurels for the country at the recently concluded 6th International & Thai Martial Arts Games 2024 held in Thailand. The spirited boy who represented India at the event won the silver medal in the Jeet Kune Do sub-junior (weight 36-38) kg category. The 11-year-old is trained by Rajan Jacob Master of JKD Martial Arts Academy. Pranav is a resident of Murickassery, Idukki.
