Kochi: India started its ODI against England on a positive note beating the host by 10 wickets at Oval on Tuesday.
India has gone one up in the three match series. Chasing a target of 111 runs set by England after being put into bat first, India made 114 runs in 18.4 overs without losing a wicket.
Captain Rohit Sharma hit 76 which included five sixes and six fours. He was well supported by Shikhar Dhawan, who faced 54 balls to make 31 runs.
This is the 18th occasion when they had made a century-long partnership.
Earlier, England made 110 runs in 25.2 overs.
Captain Jose Butler made 30 runs in 32 runs.
Bumrah took six wickets in 7.2 overs conceding 19 runs. Mohammad Shami took three wickets in seven overs.
