Kochi: India won the series against West Indies by winning the five match series 3-1 after the visitors defeated the hosts by 59 runs in the T-20 at Central Broward Park and Broward County Stadium, Florida.
Putting into bat, India made 191 for 5 with Rishabh Pant hitting 44 in 31 deliveries, Rohit Sharma 33 in 16 and Sanju Samson 30 in 23 balls. Alzarri Joseph took 2 for 29, Obed McCoy 2 for 66.
Chasing a target of 192, West Indies were bundled out in 19.1 overs. Pooran and Powell made 24 runs each. Arshdeep Singh took 3 for 12, Avesh Khan 2 for 17, Ravi Bishnoi 2 for 27. Avesh Khan was declared man of the match.
The final match will be played at the same venue today.
