India Colts barged into the finals by thrashing Australia in the finals on Wednesday night. Electing to bat first, India played meticulously to post a formidable score of 290 for 5.
Captain Yash Dhull played an attractive and responsible innings making 110 runs supported by Sheikh Rasheed who was unlucky to get his century and was out at 94.
Chasing the target 291, Australia fumbled and lost wickets at regular intervals and could make only 194 in 41.5 overs. William Salzmann took 2 for 57.
For India Vicky Ostwal did the major damage by claiming 3/42. Ravikumar took 2/37 and Nishanth Sindhu 2/25.
India have won the cup four times in 2000, 2008, 2012 and 2018.
