Kochi: India continued its winning spree under the stewardship of captain Rohit Sharma beating Sri Lanka by 62 runs in the T20 in Lucknow.
Winning the toss the visitors sent India in to bat first, realising the folly later as the host piled up a huge total of 199 for 2.
Powered by 89 by Ishan Kishan, India innings grew stronger with Shreyas Iyer contributing 57 not out and captain Rohit Sharma 44.
L Kumara and Shanaka took one wicket each for Sri Lanka.
The islanders surrendered before India as they could make only 137 for 6 with only Asalanka making a respectable 53.
India has taken one lead in the three matches.
