Kochi:A 52-year-old Neeta Brite Fernandes was detained for backing Israel amidst CPM’s rally against war on Wednesday here, media reports said.
Neeta was arrested to avoid confrontation during the rally.
Neeta, who is a native of Mattancherry, was released later.
Neeta too raised slogans in support of Israel flashing the Israel flag.
A case was registered against CPM for organizing the rally and causing hindrance to the traffic.
