Kochi: Israel and Iran conflict continued on the ninth day with Israel targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, BBC quoting Iranian media said.
There were reports of Israel striking on a nuclear site in Ifsahan in the early hours of today. Iranian air defences reportedly responded to the attack.
There has been no update from the United Nations atomic agency, IAEA, on the issue. Overnight, the Israeli military said it launched a “series of strikes” against missile storage and infrastructure sites in central Iran.
Israeli Defense Forces claimed to have shot down Iranian drones and missiles overnight in the wake of Iran ruling out nuclear talks until Tel Aviv stopped aggression.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi demanded that “the aggressor is held accountable for the heinous crimes committed”.
