87.94 percent clears Plus Two

Kochi: A total of 87.94 per cent students passed out the higher secondary examination Kerala in the academic year 2020-21. Last year it was 85.13 per cent. Out of a total 3,28,702 successful students, 48,383 got A plus. A total of 136 schools registered100 percent pass. Out of them, 11 are government schools, Education Minister V Sivankutty told reporters in Thiruvananthapuram the other day. Ernakulam recorded maximum success of 91.11 per cent while 82.53 Pathanamthitta was on the last rung with 82.53 per cent. 

Success rate in government schools was 85.02 per cent, aided schools  90.37 per cent and unaided schools  87.67 percent. A total of 25,293 students passed out in the open school category, and the success rate was 53 per cent. In the Vocational higher secondary category, the success rate was 80.36 per cent and technical school 84.39 per cent.
